Materials characterisation plays an important role into understanding the relationship between component manufacture and performance. Therefore a central element to the Mercury Centre is our extensive material characterisation capabilities centred around near net shape powder based manufacturing.

The Centre offers a comprehensive choice of materials characterisation capabilities including:
